# Beta: Wizard

Sorcero's conversational AI chat feature.

## Using Sorcero Wizard

Wizard lets you ask questions about your project data, or about a specific Collection, and refine the conversation over multiple turns instead of starting over each time.

## Where to Find It

| **Location** | **What it covers** |
| --- | --- |
| **Wizard** in the left navigation menu<br>**Note:** This replaces Instant Insights in the menu | Multi-turn chat across your whole project, or scoped to one Collection you choose when you start the conversation |

Wizard replaces the project-wide Instant Insights page in the navigation menu. Instant Insights Engine (IIE) is still there on Collection and Stakeholder detail pages, and works the way it always has. **Wizard does not yet extend to Collection and Stakeholder detail pages.**

**Note:** Wizard is in beta and may not be available in your current experience. While in beta it only replaces the project-wide Instant Insights page. It does not change how Instant Insights Engine works on Collection or Stakeholder detail pages, those stay exactly as they are today.

## Starting a Conversation

1. Click **Wizard** in the left navigation menu.
2. Choose what Wizard should search: your whole project, or a specific Collection.
3. Type your question and submit it.
4. Read the response, then keep going. Ask a follow-up question, narrow or broaden your original question, or ask Wizard to look at the answer a different way, all in the same conversation.

Wizard keeps the context of your conversation, so you do not need to repeat earlier details in a follow-up question.

## Returning to a Conversation

Wizard saves your conversation history. Click the arrow in the top left corner next to the conversation name to open the sidebar. You can click a previous conversation in the list or start a new conversation.

## What You See in the Response

Each response is built from records in your project, or your chosen Collection, and is designed to include:

- **Reviewed records.** Wizard lists the records it reviewed for its response. Click the sources at the bottom of the response to open the Records sidebar.
- **Stakeholder framing.** Where relevant, the answer is framed around the stakeholders behind it, not just how many times something was mentioned.
- **"No evidence found" notices.** If Wizard cannot find records to support part of your question, it says so rather than guessing.
- **Thinking behind the answer.** You can view Wizard's thinking for each turn by clicking **How was this answer prepared**, which shows the steps it took to reach its answer. This is useful for checking how an answer was put together before you rely on it.

## Getting Better Results

Scope matters. If your question is really about one Collection, start the conversation from that Collection instead of asking project-wide and narrowing by hand afterward. Wizard grounds the answer in that Collection's records from the start.

Because Wizard keeps context across turns, build your question up instead of writing one long prompt. Ask an initial question, review what comes back, then ask Wizard to adjust the scope, add detail, or reframe the answer in a follow-up, rather than starting a new conversation.

## What to Expect and Known Constraints

- Wizard is in **beta**. Expect some rough edges and inconsistency as the feature is refined.
- Conversation history is available, so you can continue a thread across multiple days.
- While in beta, Wizard only replaces the project-wide Instant Insights page. It does not cover, or change, Instant Insights Engine on Collection or Stakeholder detail pages, those function the same as before.
- Answers are grounded only in your project's Sorcero records. Wizard does not search outside sources.
