# Sorcero Key Concepts

A **Record** is the smallest unit of data used in Sorcero. Records may be observations gathered by MSLs, survey responses, statements made at an advisory board, and more.

A **Stakeholder** is a healthcare provider, patient, or employee associated with a Record.

A **Collection** is a set of Records. Collections can be used to organize groups of related Records or assemble supporting evidence relating to a medical insight.

An **Ontology** is a representation of related topics, terms, and synonyms. Ontologies are used by Sorcero AI in Enrichment to extract meaning and organize your data.

A **Report** is a method of meeting reporting/analytics needs. A Report can be composed of multiple charts and graphs.
